Terms and Conditions

  1. Ampella Maintenance Ltd is a supplier of services and products for heating and plumbing related projects.
  2. Ampella Maintenance Ltd is Gas Safe Registered, employing Gas Safe Register Certified engineers to undertake work on their behalf.
  3. Ampella Maintenance Ltd operates a high standard of service to all customers, taking responsibility for supplying products that offer value for money and energy efficiency.
  4. Ampella Maintenance Ltd aim to attend all boiler breakdown calls within 24 hours of receiving notification.
  5. Engineers will visit the relevant site to estimate/undertake works, providing Health and Safety guidelines have been adhered to.
  6. We reserve the right to refuse to attend any job that has potential hazardous elements, which could lead to injury to our staff and/or damage to our equipment.
  7. We undertake to carry out agreed works as per our estimate and the client's approval.  Should further works be required at the site of works, the client will be informed via the office and an additional date allocated in the engineers schedule.
  8. All works, regardless of size, are invoiced on job completion. 
  9. Payment is required within 14 days from date of invoice and can be accepted by way of cash, cheque, debit/credit card or the Direct Debit system via a Bank or Building Society.
  10. You have the right to cancel any works scheduled for us to undertake providing we have 48 hours notice.  Any parts we have ordered specific to your project will be invoiced to you unless i) we are able to return to our suppliers and obtain a full refund, ii) we are able to re-use internally.
  11. Under the terms of the Data Protection Act, the information we hold on our database is solely for the use of Ampella Maintenance Ltd.  We do not disclose your details in any form to a third party.
  12. All materials are supplied to the site in question in good working order.
  13. We do not accept any responsibility for the actions of other contractors not employed by Ampella Maintenance Ltd.
  14. No allowance is made for electrical wiring associated with the plumbing and heating installation.
  15. We assume you will deal with all submissions, payments and approvals (if applicable) from building control or other relevant statutory authorities.
  16. We assume skips for disposal (if required) of redundant materials will be provided by others.
  17. All prices quoted are exclusive of vat and this should be applied as necessary.
  18. We exclude the cost of fuel and electricity etc for testing.
  19. Force Majeure Clause: We shall be under no liability for any loss, damage, delay or expenses caused wholly or in part by Act of God, outbreak of civil commotion, government policies or restrictions or control, including restrictions of export or import or other licences, trade or industrial disputes of whatever nature, whether or not such dispute involves us, our employees or agents, or by any other event whatsoever which is beyond our control, and in any such circumstance we may omit goods from, or cancel, your order, or postpone delivery of the goods ordered.
  20. We cannot accept liability for the condition of performance of existing systems or equipment retained.
  21. A copy of our Employers Liability Insurance is displayed at the offices of Ampella Maintenance Ltd - Norfolk House.
